A long hike up to Scotland from Dorset yesterday with a midnight arrival and a couple of hours un packing and sorting to do which definitely ate into the sleep time. Jonelle has Capitaine de Hus Z (Alvin) and Chilli’s Midnight Star (Ollie) for the 4 Long and it’s a proper family affair with Otis and Abel making the most of their summer holidays by being in attendance. Rosie is in charge of the boys and Tim is in Dorset holding the home fort.
Rosie had both the boys looking their shiny best for the jog this afternoon and it’s not raining in Scotland which is always a bonus! The grass sure looks a whole lot greener up there than it does down South for sure.
ClipMyHorse is streaming all the phases which is fairly ambitious and they certainly struggled in Arville to run more than 2 camera feeds but hopefully it will work better this time around.
Alvin is 3rd in tomorrow, dressage starts at 08.30 BST and Ollie goes on Friday as 41st in the arena.
