A not so sunny Saumur today which is always a shame when in France in springtime.  After a morning spent training and course walking the last half of the 4L dressage kicked off this afternoon and it was Tim and Jariillo  (Milo) who went into the arena and scored a 28.6 to sit in eventual 8th spot, just a couple of marks behind Happy Boy who now sits in 2nd behind the French leader Sebastien Cavallon  on 23.4.   That puts Milo pretty much smack bang between his Boekelo and Blenheim 4 star scores and shows how reliable he is on the big stage at just 10 years old.

Jonelle and Senor Crocodillo (Diego) sit just behind in joint 9th on 29.1.  Diego was trending on around 25 in his trot work but a weak walk and a missed change dropped the score down a bit but Jonelle is adamant he has a “real big score in him, he just needs another 6 to 12 months” which is big talk and never to be underestimated from Jonelle!

The final scores see Happy 2nd, Milo in 8th, Diego in 9th and Mac in 15th.  Rain is forecast for tomorrow so when cross country kicks off at 2.30pm CET we are hoping it will be on the Saumur Facebook page… no confirmation as yet.
