Tim flew to Paris from the USA and then on down to Pau to meet up with Jarillo (Milo) and the team at home had had just a couple of hours to turn the truck around when it arrived back from Le Lion d’Angers at 9am on Monday morning!

The jog at Pau was held this morning (Thursday) and the dressage starts at 2pm local time (CET).  Most years the dressage runs in the afternoons at Pau but this year they have such a big field with some 73 starters they will run the dressage all day tomorrow.

Tim and Milo have until 3.27 CET on Friday to polish their dancing shoes  and although the sun was trying to shine for the jog the forecast is not so great for the rest of the week.  Pau is usually a fabulous last glimpse of summer in the daytime with cold nights, occasionally you get a wet year, and this looks like it might be one of them.  Let’s hope Milo has his flippers with him.

Pau has its own livestream at around £17 which is not unreasonable, although slightly annoying if you already to subscribe to CMH and H&C TV!  https://www.event-pau.com
