A small but classy field today at Maryland for the 5 star jog which took place after the much larger 3 star jog. Nice sunshine, a few clouds and Jonelle looked super classy in her https://www.meandem.com summer dress with an immaculately turned out Chilli’s Midnight Star (Ollie) by her side thanks to Jess Harper who is Olli’s PA this week.
Owner/breeder Nikki Axon and husband Braddon are on site to cheer on Ollie’s first 5 star debut and Ollie definitely looks super happy to have Jonelle all to himself for the week. Mel Halstead, who also co owns Ollie, couldn’t make the trip but its a given that she will be watching from afar for sure.
Live scoring and times on https://www.rechenstelle.de/en/agenda/2025/elkton-md/ and it would appear that Jonelle will dressage on Friday on Ollie. She is joined by fellow Kiwi and ex-working student Tayla Mason and Centennial (Chase) for the NZ flag crew and I have no doubt that will see Jonelle in a coaching role as well.
