Blazing sunshine for Jonelle and Senor Crocodillo (Diego) on Friday and their late draw meant that Jonelle was well aware of the fact the judges were scoring tough across the board.  It’s Diego’s first 5 star test and he made a few mistakes, the medium walk was a little dodgy and he does love to drop behind the vertical in the extended walk and the stretchy circle.  He also went a bit west in the last change but overall it was a more than credible step up in level.  The score of 35.1 was fair enough, especially when viewed in the concept that Laura Collett and London 52 sit in the lead on 25.4.

Plenty of course walking still to be done and an early start tomorrow with the 5 star kicking off at 8.45 am.  The forecast is for 30 degrees so it’s great that the 5 star will be done before midday with the short cross country being run in the afternoon.
