No problems at the jog this morning for Tim’s two young guns and in the incredibly complicated showjumping order that Boekelo create in order to fulfil reverse order for Nations Cup teams as well as individuals it was Garcon (Tibo) who went in as pathfinder.

Tibo jumped a lovely round, just tapping out the middle of the treble on the final line for 4 faults and adding a couple of seconds time.

Brookfield Future News (Matthew) went later in the morning session and he executed a foot perfect clear round to finish on his dressage score.  Just how influential that was became clear as  the class went on and he kept on climbing all the way from 24th to equal 10th (although he ended up 11th when they split the scores down to best test mark) which is quite the feat.

Tim was super happy with both of the horses and they have finished up the season sound, fit and happy with big things ahead of them for 2026.  For now though it is a well deserved holiday in the paddock for these two boys and a week at home for Tim whilst he preps his three five star horses for Pau.

Meanwhile, across the Pond, Jonelle has arrived in Maryland and reunited with Chilli’s Midnight Star (Ollie) who will be contesting his first five star on USA soil.  Plenty of things to look forward to this week!
